yeah during the vegas summer mine is impossible to see, ive turned the brightness all the way down, ive just gotten used to not having a working cluster

whew! I bought the warr. from the dealer when I purchased mine.. and it got replaced last week... 1200 bucks!

Is this common in other foreign cars or mainly just German cars? My audi and many older Audis are notorius for fading clusters. Just this past month, my C32 is showing a "hint" of fade.

I did a recent replacement of the LCD screen. It seems to work. Still doing road test on it. You can check it out in the w203 forum.
