P0335 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction (L5)

So my C32 put up this error code today. It would not start at the gas station today, but finally turned over. It started up a couple of more time throughout the day, but now as it sits in my garage it simply will not turn over to start. Anyone know if this error code will cost serious money to fix? I am going to somehow get it to the shop tomorrow, but just wanted to get some thoughts. Please help!

It is not relatively expensive..

I did some research and my mechanic charged me $350 AUD for the new sensor and labour. Supposedly it's a ***** to put in..

People here in the states seem to get it cheaper than what I paid..

I just went through this myself. The part is cheap and it is a pain in the **** to get in to be honest.

If you search the forums you'll find there's two basic ways to get to it to replace it: Going through the engine bay near the firewall or drive the car up on ramps and go from the under side. I couldn't get enough room to do it through the top and found going through the bottom to be much easier. Here's my thread on it:

You're welcome, and good luck with the change. Just post back on the forums if you need help. Everyone here has always been nothing but helpful for me since I've been coming here.
