02 c32 supercharger rattle??
Hi guys. I was having some problems with my heated seats(they overheated each time I put them on the highest), so I decided to disconnect the battery of my c32 for about 30 min, thinking it would solve the problem. Anyhow, not only that it did not solve that problem, but it started a new one. When I started the car this morning and began driving it slowly, I noticed that there was a slight rattle coming from the supercharger
. When accelerating, the rattle can't be heard, but when you let of the gas and the car slowly decelerates, you can surely hear it. Now, I disconnected the battery for another 30 minutes to see if the rattling disappears. Has this happened to any of you guys, and if it has what was the problem? My car is a stock 02 c32 with 57000 on the clock. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont think its the supercharger pulley, because it was noisy before and I had it replaced under warranty, so its fairly new. I still have my warranty just wondering if this is a serious problem so that I take my car to mercedes dealer immediately. Thank you for your input.

yes! any problem on an AMG Mercedes is a serious problem, GO FIX IT! Your fortunate to still have the warranty covering it, so take advantage and fix everything while you can!

Thanks guys. I still have 8 months left on my 2 year 24000 mile extended warranty. The problem is that I have had just about anything that can go bad (that went bad) with the c32 replaced, and now the supercharger?? I am getting frustrated. Whats going to happen when my warranty expires, or should I just keep extending it? I hate how every time I take the car in for a check, it is $200 deductible.
