Again, good luck and keep us updated.
Thank you!

Yea you are absolutly right, it is not cheap! I was about to buy a C63, but the trade in for my car was so bad that I decided to do this instead. Why have a car that anybody can buy!

And like I mentioned, the guys made 665Hp/740Nm ON the wheels on a EVO!

The "T" in Mercedes stands for "Touring", so my C32 is a station wagon! But I think that you guys in the states can't get the "T", or am I wrong?

Thank you!

The transmission will be modified, or changed altogether.

Do we need to say anything more about the Lysholm SC, I think that has proven itself.

If for whatever reason the transmission cannot take all that rwhp on the c32 amg, on the MKBtuning.de page I found that they have a transmission reinforcement package that also comes with an lsd. Click here:

also known as the "ESTATE"

in the USA, no C32 T - Wagon
only E55 T - Wagon AMG.

there were also no C32 Coupes available in the USA direct from AMG.

awsome project. i think 700hp can be done......with the right amount of money! and it seems you are going about it correctly by building the lower half and lightening the rotational mass by using exotic material rods....just out of curiosity how much does a set of TIAL rods go for?

dont let anyone tell you it cant be done all it takes is cash!! I am pulling almost500hp to the wheels on a 2.3l in my 190 16v with room for improvement

No offense to the OP, but you seem to believe that 665 hp to the wheels of an EVO is some great automotive breakthrough. That much power on an EVO in fairly common. And the platform for tuning on the EVO is much more responsive to modding then the benz.

I dont mean to crash the party, but it wont be as easy to get 700 hp on the C32 as it is to get 700 hp on the EVO.

ANYWAY, I do believe that it IS possible and hope that you are the ones to achieve that much power in a C32. GOOD LUCK

Subscribed. Looking forward to following your progress.

Side note, what happened to the other TT C32 projects? Wasn't Vadim working on something like that? I also thought this was going to turn into a commercial upgrade option in "kit" form? As others have said, turbos are the way to make huge HP numbers fairly easily and efficiently.

yeah no "T" in the US when it comes to mercedes. Most automanufacturers reserve the "T" to imply turbo in the states...like Audi, volve, saab, vw.

Thats why people that you were going turbo when they first saw the "T" in the title. I thought the same thing, until i read your post more carefully.

it was LET that was developing the kit. They pretty much gave up...on it since the kit was supposed to be finished back in july and there hasn't been any updates. It was suppose to be price around $6600 starting...capable of hitting around 500whp.

I think they either couldn't get it run reliably or figured they can make more profit selling add-ons instead of a bolt on kit.

Well that's a shame if they dumped the project. $6600 is a bargain when you figure the C55 guys are stuck with $10k-$15k just for a supercharger kit. I would much rather dump one large sum vs. nickel and dime for nominal gains that add up in the end with less to show for it. Hopefully someone else will reengage this in the future.

In the mean time we get to enjoy MIDO's project.

Thank’s a lot!

I agree, I’m confident that we will make 700++ without problems, I just need to pay for it…. Well the thing with the Titanium is that it’s apparently a higher demand then availability, so the Titanium has a “day to day pricing”. But I’m looking on at least 3900$ for them.

Wow, your car sounds amazing! Any pic?
