Much linear pedal. Gone is the wierd feeling the 55's all have with braking. Although my previous mechanic swore he changed the fluid I doubt he did unless he repainted the front nipple coverss and bleed valves. There was so much paint on them I had to smash my line wrench down. DO not attempt without line wrenches people! Easy install. Took problably 1h. 2h if you have 1 jack.

The only wierd thing is that initially I thought the initial bite took more pedal travel = air still in the system. However I took a great deal of time making sure not a hint of bubbles were apparent. I also used 1l of 600 (2 bottles). However you could probably make due with about 1 maybe. The capacity is about there.

In retrospect and after more contempltion and driving, what I notice is that the pedal is linear finally! I always remarked at how nonlinear the brake pedal was on the 55's especially after driving the pcar. Now it's nice and linear.

I am going on a canyon run tomorrow to see about the results, and test a very tight area where I boiled the fluid mixing it up with a Carrera GT after loosing a gt3rs.

Not bad for $100.

SS lines are such a great deal - A little over 100 bux for a big time improvement in pedal feel and brake consistency...

I did this along with the 63 brakes upgrade and I know exactly what you are talking about. Although I always thought my initial bite took less pedal travel.
