neat way to circulate air at hiway speed w/o ac
stumbled on this...it's pretty neat.
raise sunroof, lower right rear window 1 inch. all other widows should be closed. at speeds above 30 mph you will feel a draft over your left shoulder.
without too much wind noise. i guess a venturi effect is created sucking air out the back and pulling it in from sunroof. (or could be opposite).
i've been usiing this as it's nice out and no need to activate ac prob save a few cents.
it should work as well on diffent cars, once you have a sunroof you can pop up. a co worker tried it on a maxiama it worked.

I wish my sunroof would open
But yeah, try cracking both windows on either side (one side at a time) just about an inch or so. It creates a similar effect, though the noise can get pretty loud if it's windy out (or if you're commuting at triple-digit speeds >_>).

I tried it this morning. It worked ok, it was 82 F outside but at least it was circulating and not too loud. I think you need optimal outside temperatures (65-70) to run this mod.

As a smoker though, doing it this way keeps the ash from blowing straight back into my face and circulates the smoke out damn well. It circulates out right over my left shoulder, come to think of it
It seems to help immeasurably if you have the back window open just a bit further than the front window too (if you have both open on a side), but I suppose that could just be my quirky *** car...

I tried it on the way home from work yesterday, and it does work. That being said, as was mentioned above, you could always just press REST or AC/OFF and keep things quiet.

I tried it on the way home from the strip the other day!! Yes it works and since I don't smoke, it had to be the burritos!!
You do feel a wind roll over your left shoulder and it does cool the interior. Sounds not too intrusive either!!

But then you have to fiddle with the vent positions, the amount they're open, the fan speed, the "temp" that they're blowing at anyways... Maybe it's just me, but it seems like the HVAC system (at least in the C32s) is a major PITA to manage temperatures with

Agreed, just open the windows and let it all in!! SMOG and all
