C32
I'm not going to be the purveyor of sour grapes but my 04 C32 has not been trouble free at all. I'm unsure of owners' history records of the C36 or C43 but you should do some homework and ask around before plunging $ into one.
With that said, the C32 is a lot faster than both, but dynamically (handling wise) may not be better so.

and there's room in the back for me and Stevie and MOM could make me sandwiches in the back too (Turkey on white with mayonnaise and a dash of salt and pepper
Honestly, have seen a R63 on the road. Would love to though.

C36 vs C32
But, my point is that the real world is not all drag strips. If you put a C36 and a C32 on the same twisty back road the C36 will have no problem keeping up and will do it with more confidence and less drama than the C32. It is just a really good, well balanced car with decent power. The trouble is that when you do hit a long straight there is no way in he!! that the C36 is going to pass the faster C32, lol. The C32 is more of a point and shoot car that is lacking the well balanced suspension and handling of the older AMG's. We can thank the corporate legal staff at MB for that.

03 g35 coupe...........02 c32 Sold
i agree the c36 was probably built better but i think the styling looks too dated. I like performance, but i also need to like the looks for the car as well.
Just like the e36 m3, its a great car for the money but the styling shows its real age. I know looks are subjective, but i think the c32 is just a better all around car in terms of daily driving, looks, general creature comforts with the performance.
If you autox a lot, then i agree the c36 is a better car.

The C32 Can and does handle well at the limits, granted a little understeer, but its track prowes are never the less THERE.
See yeah

The C36 argument above is the same as the BMW guys, "BUT I'll take him the twisties."
