I broke a plug wire lol

Yeah... I was checking the sparkplugs, and pulled too hard on one of the plug wires which caused the rubber suction to peel off on one of the ends, but it was still functional. I was trying to put it back together and pulled the metal wire off with the pliers on accident . It was on the back left side. That wire is a female dog, there is no room to take it off, eventually I got it off though.

This sucks! I was thinking about putting it back together, but thought I'd ask first. Would the car still run properly with one sparkplug for a cylinder, does anyone know?

I also noticed that there are like 8 different variations of plug wire types, some pair with the other side, some don't. Is that how it is on yours too?

Do you think I could somehow repair the broken wire on my own? I was thinking of gluing it.

Its pretty typical to break the wires, we all have done it. As far as gluing it??? Ur serious?

You could I guess run the car without the wire, you just will throw misfire codes and the car will run like crap. Do yourself a favor and get new wires all around....

I just picked up some new oem wires from http://www.autohausaz.com
Good pricing for quite a few items. I was going to try to get them swapped out this weekend. If you pm me the number of the cyl I could send you my old oem wire (63k on it) as a band-aid till you get some replacements. You pick up the postage (probably a couple of bucks) send me a pm if you need it.

I just bought new OEM plug wires from the dealer two months ago (or atleast that's what I paid for), they all appear to have different signs of wear, that's why I am a little concerned about their sizing, maybe they never ordered new ones and replaced with what ever they could. That's a pretty serious claim to push and a weak one with the facts I have. I'm going to call a different dealer today and ask the parts guy about the plug wires and their designations to see if I have the correct ones all the way around.

Is there a way to tell which plug wire goes into which terminal?
