For the first time!!! the Crazy noise!!!
OMG for the first time of winter, I’m getting the hissing noise from the dashboard!!!!! It was really cold this morning when i start my car. Right after it starts, I’m getting this wired motor running noise coming from the dashboard. In about 20 mins of driving, the noise goes away.
I'm sure this has been mention before but no post on how to fix the problem. Anyone out there had this fixed?

You're sure the 'hissing' noise is coming from the dashboard? Is it coming from the area behind the CD player? If so, it may be a sign of the AC going bad. Also, is the noise a definite 'hiss' or is it a 'ticking'?
Try a few things:
A. Turn AC completely off. Does that do anything for the noise?
B. Turn the AC to max and see if the blown air is very cold. If not, there's a problem.
C. Are you sure the hissing / motor noise isn't your secondary air pump? That sound is accentuated when it is cold out since the catalytic converters have to be warmed up for efficiency. However, it shouldn't take 20 minutes for that air pump to turn off.
