***Quaife LSD Group Buy***

Got a call from the US distributor for Quaife and they offered a new price for the LSD's. The group buy price is $1225.00 + Shipping.

Let me know if anyone wants to do it and I'll get it all arranged.

I'd be interested-what entails swapping the stock rear for the LSD?
I hear good things about power to the ground with these....thanks!

Hmm. Maybe they're hungry for sales. I should see if they'd do the same for the Porsche 944 community.

Yes, limited-slip differentials aid in traction - you asked about "power gains" - which would be zero (perhaps "n/a" would've been a more accurate answer); being better able to use the power you already have... that's a different story, and why many who persue the Quaife diff state it's hands-down the best mod for these cars (even at $2,000 - 2,500ish, P&L).

OT - how's the C55 build going? IIRC, weren't you shooting for 600+ rwhp? Sure sounded exciting at the time (a one-off project with Kleemann, I think?)

Its still in the works...i am deploying on Jan 3rd...5th tour over in Iraq, so i had to put some things on the back burner. Euroteck gets the car in june or july when i come home from leave...we are going to do some custom carbon fiber mods to the car, and a cf interior. Then it goes to either C2 Design in Tampa or to GTP Performance in North Carolina for the full Kleemann job. I havent decided who will get the car yet. Both places are Kleemann Certified Shops, and i am waiting on the price info from GTP. A few grand might help sway my choice on the shop..but either way i am looking at the 20k-25k mark for the motor. I need to then figure out how to get to the 600 hp mark from there i guess. I am not sure what to do. Any ideas???? i will keep you posted as i go.

Thats the car in the picture, and on my profile..A friend of mine took them while i was jumping out of a plane (airborne) at Benning in GA. I had the CF lip, CF trunk spoiler, CF roof spoiler, 20% front windshield tint, Blue neon L.E.D under car kit and wheel well lights installed about 2 weeks ago. More to come....

I think the part number of Quaife is QDF7V.

I want to purchase a LSD for my BENZ C32 AMG and I need some information for study.

1. Whart is the type? 1 Way / 1.5 Way or 2 Way?
2. What is the engagement? Clutch or gear ? If it is use gear. Is it mean don't need use special oil for Quaife differential?

3. Is Quaife differential change the transmission gear ratio?

4. Where can get documents about install procedure for this Quaife differential (QDF7V)? I need it to check with my car service and make sure they can do it.

6. Do you have any picture for QDF7V ?
