Question Went to refill the windshield washer and ......

leaked right out the bottom. I suppose next time it makes sense to check for leaks. I hope it's just a hose that popped off. Anyone else run into this?

Yeah I went through hell fixing the leak associated with it. Easiest thing to do is point your wheels to the left and take off the panel inside the wheel well to access everything. Hopefully one of the tubes popped out or the drain plug eroded away, otherwise you may have to do a ghetto repair job like I did lol.

Quick tip that should save you time. Go after the bolts first, then hit the plastic clips. I found that using a flathead screwdriver to pop out the center "pin" of the plastic clips makes it really easy to take them out without breaking them.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, the winds are gusting to 60mph right now and it's pretty cool out. I will take a look in the next couple of days. I hope it's just a hose but will price out a replacement washer tank as well. It's not a biggie but
I don't like putting stuff off - no matter how small. Thanks again.

I found the leak and it's at the place where the filler neck connects to the actual reservoir. I don't know why MB made it in two pieces connected by a rubber grommet or something. So in short it's not the actual tank.

Hmm interesting, mine leaked where the tubing going from the pump to the sprayers was. I fixed it with aquarium silicone (make sure everything is dry of course).
