Best performance / sounding exhaust for C55

Best performance / sounding exhaust for C55
What are your opinions on which exhaust system is the best for the C55? I was thinking about doing a custom set up where I would take out the second set of cats and the resonators, put high flow flowmaster cats in place of the first set, and put flowmaster 40 series mufflers on it. Has anyone else put an American Muscle system such as magnaflow, borla, or flowmasters on their benz?

Welcome to the forum.
Keep your stock mufflers they sound great with some simple exhaust mods. I have custom duel exhaust into the stock mufflers and Its IMO, Perfect. Not saying its what you should do but it gives you an idea. Get rid of the resonator and secondary cats and you will free up some sound for sure.

Man... Everytime I see that video... Makes my car sound SOO quiet, hahah. Hooley, that sounds great as usual. I think ya got about the best sounding exhaust for the c55s who posted sound/video clips.
USMC_C55, Hooley has done a bit of leg work to find out which exhaust setups actually make power and sound :P Id take his advice.

I will try also to do this today.....
I have never done one so this will be my first attempt. I am not sure how well my camera will record this.
