Not at all. no offense taken...I just wanted to do something different. Break new ground. I know that a TT setup might be more efficient but wanted to explore if it could be done reliably, effectively and efficiently. It's going to be a MAJOR challenge for any MB tuner as it's never been done before with proven ongoing reliability. The C32 in Dubai was the first but I never heard any further news on it. Was it just a novelty or can it be a daily driver? That's what I wanted to find out. Originally Posted by c32used

The ECU would most likely need to be stand-alone. It would require complete new exhaust set-up. I would need a clutch to disengage the SC when it reaches 4000rpm, etc.. etc..
If it's going cost me more than another $10K then I would not bother with it and go with just a TT and put my Kleemann up for sale. btw...
This SC only has 2K miles on it and Vadim just port and polished it. checked the bearings, lobes, gears, etc.. and it's in PERFECT better than new condition. That's also why it's hard to let go because I know you can't get another one like this from Kleemann and it's a larger Twin-Screw (Autorotor) than Renntech (Lysholm) makes. Blackbenz can vouch for that since his ET was 11.06 with only 8 psi versus E55s that push 20psi to make the same ET.
I guess I'm already making the pitch to sell my SC

I could be mistaken and please correct me if I am wrong but doesn't Blackbenz's CLK run a 10.5:1 compression ratio + boost?Originally Posted by AMGSC

I also ran on 8psi just like Blackbenz. When headers, dual X pipes and cams are added the boost actually drops a bit so a smaller pulley is necessary to bring the boost back up. I had no problems with it and I ran 13 consecutive hot laps at California Raceway last November.Originally Posted by BenzoAMGpower

Nice...but you can pick up a 65TT for around $50K now if you look hard enough. (S65 in particular).Originally Posted by MJ50
