Official Route
Here is the route... check out the link and print out the route. I tried to keep it pretty simple and use roads that we wouldnt have to worry too much about stoplights and busy intersections.
As well, there are going to be areas where we will be able to pull over and regroup if necessary.
There will be only two actual stops along the route. The first will be in the Presidio at the Parade Grounds. This will be our first offical stop for photographs.
The second stop will be at the pier behind Reds Java Hosue off of the Embarcadero. As promised, spectacular stop for pics with the Bay Bridge as a backdrop.
So, what the final count? Any volunteers to be the sweep car? We need one in the middle too. Preferably someone that knows the route by just looking at it. Yes, a local.
As the "self deemed" leader of the drive I will propose the simple yet important plan.
We need to have 2 groups. We have too many cars and if we dont break it up into two groups we will inevitably find our groups splitting up at stoplights and intersections.
The first group will follow me. The second group will follow a few minutes after so as not to encourage "catching up" or "keeping up".
I will be in contact with the second group leader via cell.
We will rejoin at the Presidio Parade Grounds and then depart as two groups again. Once again we will meet at the Reds Java House Pier.
The final leg of the trip which takes us onto the freeway towards Pacifica and then to Tanforan Shopping center will be done as one large group.
No speeding please. We all know how fast our cars are. But for others too see up to 20 AMG MB's rolling on the freeway at 55-60mph is quite dramatic.
So, someone please volunteer to be the group leader. But be ready to lead.

Just Google "Great Highway and Fulton San Francisco Ca" It should take you right to where we are. Or do a search for the beach Chalet Restaurant SF. thats the meeting spot.
I will be the guy with a wife and kid with me. At the moment I have a damn cold. Took today off of work to rest up for the weekend. But I will be there.
The weather is looking great! Good times. Print out the map and directions.

Sweet..!
Once again, print out the map and directions. The route is pretty easy but there are going to be sections where we will be seperated due to intersections and traffic.
I will be leading slowly so that when we do fragment we will still be somewhat close together.
So far there hasnt been any takers to be the leader of the second group. If things keep progressing as it has been we will see close to 20 cars.
That is crazy ****e.
By the way, the whole ride will be in 1st or 2nd gear so that we can let the motors wind up. (Except for the part on the freeway of course)

ps... print out the directions.

I'm staying in Richmond area? My friend calls it like China Town II? Not quite sure, everything looks the same to me Looks cloudy outside right now, I guess we were supposed to rent bikes tomorrow to go on a long bike ride but we just took my friend to the clinic because she's super sick so maybe I can find a way to the meet...damn, I wish I had my car here. Lovin' it here, its like a cleaner, drier version of Seattle

Well, the forecast says rain but I dont think it will arrive until the afternoon. I probably wont be more then light rain if it does arrive. We should be done by that time. Regardless, I will be there.
Washed the "C" this afternoon. All ready to get it on the road and wet.

Hey guys, missed it from being too hung over from drinking and clubbing. The cellar is pretty cool lol. I think I saw 3 of you driving on union...blacked out c55 and 2 w204's...think one was at least azn_c300's. If you saw an asian dude riding in a black civic riding with a girl pointing at your cars it was me lol
