That motor sounds like it should be great!

I remember first seeing your car at HOP with Mario and Josh when you had it dyno'd post HPS. You probably don't remember taking me down the street for a taco break. Seems that alot has changed for the better, you unlucky gen2 guys. Sorry to bring back memories, but looking back what a story/project....
Yeah, I remember. Man that seemed like yesterday. Great to see your car is still going strong. It's been quite a saga dealing with HPS. I was extremely patient with HPS like I am with Vadim now but I'm hopeful that the ending to this story is better than that last one.

I'm going down to see my car this Friday and will snap some pics of my own and post them here.

Edit: I just took a look at the diagram and it is clearly not adjustable end-links. These are stronger control arms that will allow the car to launch hard without breaking them.
Yes, I believe you are correct: they do not look like swaybar end-links. They look a lot more like these:

Those are still camber arms. These are control arms as illustrated in the diagram above. These are not located on the near the wheels at all.

So they are neither swaybar end-links nor camber arms. They are a set of 6pcs totaling over $1200 + installation labor.

Edit: Your are partially correct. These are similar to speedybenz camber arms BUT these are 3 sets instead of differenent lenghts and stronger. Assuming Speedybenz makes the other 2 sets, the cost would be $831 and I'm paying $1200 but Vadim tells me they are better because it's all aluminum vs. Speedybenz's coated steel tubing.

This is the first Prototype. A set of 6 or 8 to give maximum launch and turn control.

Very cool although I dont really know what I'm looking at... Another thing to think about with launching the C55 is... The 255 drag radial is more than capable of hooking the C55. dollar for dollar the tires win every time. I know racers that pay big time money for suspension setups. I think with the power potential you are looking for you are going to need more meat in the back to ever hook on the street. I tell you what though it is so much fun ripping around turns in a total drift.

Rob, come to me for headers and exhaust we are going to have tons of dyno time (since we have a dyno-dynamics in house) on these things. I will be posting pics most likely tomorrow. Supercharged C55 to another Supercharged C55 these things are going to be sick I wouldn't steer you wrong.

Cant wait to see this beast.

Not sure if I would lose the ability to drift with stiffer backs. These were meant to keep the toes straight and max tread when squattng to prevent cambering in which you would lose tread contact. Only the innner tires would get any traction otherwise. More pics to follow when they are fully installed.

I'd def consider your longtubes when you're done and tested.

Your going to love them. the collector comes just before the transition to the under carriage. (I didnt want to risk smacking it off a speed bump) then into hifow cat ( we can even do cali legal cats!) I've seen the drivers side finished and it looks sick.

No I'm not saying your car wont drift. I'm just saying with the lack of tire width we can get under our C55 it makes it that much more tail happy.

Honestly, I'm not sure if I would ever match that time of yours. You ET and Trap are better than almost all V12 Twin Turbos!

If I break into the high 10's i would be ecstatic, content and call it a day. Last mod would prolly be long tubes but that will be the end of it.

I wouldn't say that Vadim is focused solely on your project... LOL!

...but it's good to know that you're seeing progress!

New Short Block and Polished Crank

Here are two more pics with more to follow next week.

I can't post the partially completed 82MM TB nor the Control Arms as the design is proprietary and confidential for now.

My Maybach Tranny and TC should be arriving in a day or two, if it's not already there.

I'm returning stateside on Sun June 28th. I'm hoping Vadim can have my motor and tranny installed in my car by the end of next week so I can put on the break-in miles while I'm home for my two week break.
