Finally! First dyno run this weekend (Mustang)
I have searched high and low to find a dyno shop within 100 miles of me. I finally found one thats a couple hours away and I'm going for it. I'm nervous though....it's a Mustang dyno, aka "the heartbreaker". Philip (has a stock C55 and is on the boards here occasionally) will hopefully be joining me along with our local Benz service manager.
Anyone care to place their bets now? Mods are in my signature. Official results will be posted Sat. evening.

Also, what gear does everyone run ont he dyno? Slow roll to 3rd and floor it through redline? Doesn't sound like the dyno operator is real familiar with Mercs. Is there anything I need to know ahead of time to tell him?

from what i have heard and read, it is really similar if not slightly higher than a dyno dynamics dyo. im going to guess 365whp and 375 wtq, assuming that you are getting your car retuned for the pulley and headers as well as 93 octane. good luck!

I did the Mustang dyno.
Except I only have the C3 Pulley, C3 intake, and a Power chip tune. you can see my sig. Results: 281 RWHP
You should come up with higher numbers than mine.
BTW, I posted these results (PDF) late September 2008.

I already have the let tune for the 185 and 93 oct. I will be sending these dyno results to Jerry along with my ECU to have it fine tuned and hopefully take advantage of the headers. Will then hit the same dyno again after the new re-tune.

Make sure the air is off, car in dyno mode, start the run from 3rd and don't let it downshift.
hum...this should be pretty easy...
mustang - 327
dyno dynamics -335
dynojet -343
oh and off topic....1000th post!

FWIW, I think Josh is correct in an earlier post - I've always heard that Dyno Dynamics is the one referred to as the "heartbreaker dyno" due to yielding the lowest results in the industry.
Either way, good luck and keep us posted! I presume you didn't ever have a baseline, from your comment about "first trip" to the dyno...?

If by chance the Mustang reads higher than the dyno dynamics, then I "should" put down more than JTurks 350. Based on previous Mustang dyno results, I just don't see that happening.
Jakes numbers look a little more like it, although 343 on a dynojet would be very weak. I would be pretty pissed frankly, because the 185 and tune alone "should" yield more than that based on others and claimed gains.

Mine is currently running 319/346 DynoJet on a super lean issue (15 A/F ratio) with very similar mods. I got advice to check my fuel filer so I will do my filter this weekend and will have it re-dyno. I hope it’s the filter.
At the moment my car is holding the record, the weakest C32 in the world.

Hey Trevor, I hope my schedule allows for me to join y'all. I've searched the forum for "dyno mode" mentioned above... how does that work?

I just changed my oil (AMSOIL Euro blend) and filter (WIX) tonight. Hopefully will get the tranny flushed within the next week or two if Craig gets the ATF in stock. I can't remember if he went with Motul or Redline...

Based on what I read in the sticky post (searched the forum but not the sticky), it is applicable to the C32. Willing to try though.
