Which car should I buy? (opinions needed)

The W211 E55 forums have a sticky with drag times... that will give you an idea of a range of stock and slightly modified E55 times. Generally speaking its on driver but 11.9s to 12.5's stock @ 115-120mph; 03 cobras in stock form are a little slower @ 12.2-12.9 @ 111-116 but you can drop a 1500 in them and hit 11.5-12.00 @ 120s
But why are we comparing a 03 cobra to a e55
i would go e55 all day long

i have a c55 and had a g35... which i still love and miss. great car. but when considering "bang for the buck"/power vs price, u should consider the E55 or the other ones mentioned above.
but for daily driver i vote C55. if u need a city car, then maybe opt for the G35.

03 cobra
Just another 2 cents from me.
I had a ported blower that got me to 500 horses with all the normal supporting mods. I added a 125 shot that got me to 700 horses. On the stock block. I left the IRS (ind rear suspension) in there bc i did enojy the way it drove. And there have been numerous cobras that do well as track cars or auto x cars. Not my thing, but that's just what i've seen.
Just being in the C55 for a months now and having that mercedes badge I can already tell it is going to be costly to get anywhere near what it was. Not that I'm trying to. The C55 is a totally diff animal and i am not expecting to do the same things in it.
With all that said from what looks like the leading vote getters, you can't really go wrong.
