I'm being told no c32's were produced in the last 4 months of 2002...hence my delivery date being continously moved 'back'. Any truth to this or am I getting the run around.

This is all kinds of bull. My car was built 12/13-12/17, delivered 1/15. There were C32s for my dealer built two weeks before and two weeks after my car.

Your car, as mentioned before, was probably sold to someone else who had an 'in' with the dealer or who bought their way up.

If your salesman and GM continue to state this, call MBUSA immediately to complain. If I could find the build date stamped on my car, I'd email it to you.

The build date is on any piece of paper that you got with delivery. On my first oil change I got a receipt that has a field for build date on it. Should not be too hard to find and prove exact date of production. They only take a couple of days to build and most of that time is wait. The engine takes a few hours to build and the C320 comes right off the line.

build date, or at least month and year, are on the driver side door sticker.
