white and whiter
that's the issue right there with willingness to spent the money. the 6-piston 360mm setup is north of $2600. That vs $600-700 easy upgrade. no brainer if these were available when I opted for the brembo.

(For link contained in post #30).
$102 each for C32/C55 OEM front rotors from Mercedes Benz of Fort Lauderdale. I already received mine. $230.00 for two (2) (dos) (zwei)(II) rotors delivered to San Diego. Easy transaction, definitely OEM product. Can't beat that!
Thanks to ///AMG4EVER for this info!

I put the Race brake rotors on a few months ago and have not had any problems. My brotherinlaw did the install while I was at work and said it went fine. I think being able to use stock calipers is a financial advantage to doing a bbk. I'm using akeonon euro ceramic pads, which are affordable and easy to find. I don't autocross, but do drive hard on the back roads sometimes and have not had any issues. I hope with more interest in their product they will come out with matching rear rotors.

Brakes
I just replaced my fronts about 6 months ago with OEM cross drilled rotors and Red Stuff performance pads. Just came off of a track day two weeks ago and they performed great.
However, 14 lbs of unsprung weight savings is "Huge". That is like gaining about 1.5 hp in pure accelleration but the spinning inertia is another factor affecting accelleration. Plus when you go to lighter, wheels, tires, brakes it greatly improves handling, ride, I do not know the formula for the gain in accelleration from the spinning inertia. The front rotors on our cars are huge and very heavy. This will make a difference that you will be able to feel on the track or twisty back roads. Still by brakes are new so it is tough to justify another replacement !@#$%
