Out Of Control!!
Get a Valentine One from their website. The Valentine One is by far the best on the market. You can see a wiring guide for the CLK (C Class should be similiar) in the tech section on our website at www.evosport.com/tech.

I have the Passport 8500
and it's great. You may want to consider some sort of active laser defense such as the Passport ZR3 which connects to the 8500.

Valentine for me...
My V1 has been great. The only time it did not help was n Nevada, where all the cops seem to use instant-on radar.
I was in the middle of nowhere breaking in a CLK55 and I dropped from 140 to 110 in a sweeping curve. A Nevada highway patrol jeep came into view going the other way. I saw him, he saw me, my foot was half way to the brake, the V1 went wild, and I just pulled over. With 40 miles either way to get off that road, there was no way I could outrun radio.
He wrote me up for 80 in 70, "to not jack up my insurance," and that seems to have worked. But then, its the only ticket on my record in 16 years.
Here in California the V1 is a life saver. If the CHP has instant-on they are too lazy to use it that way. I usually get 2-3 miles of advance warning.
