Question C32 brabus rims??

Hi,

I am looking at putting a set of 18" maybe 19" rims on my c32 and I was wondering which rims would fit. I like the brabus Momoblock Vs and was wondering people's options as to which other rims would look good on a black c32.

Monoblock Vs are kind of old. Monoblock VIs are much nicer. What kind of design do you favor? Classic 5-spoke or Mesh?

any idea how much a set of hre's would cost for the c32. Also, i was looking on ebay and they had sets of HRE 547 with adonized centers with S03s for like $2000? Isnt that price maybe too good? However, that guy had a rating of like 600+

I guess with your budget, SSR would be the choice. HREs will be around USD6000/set (EXCLUDING tires!!). Brabus will be in the USD4000+ range.

The set that you found on eBay does sound too good to be true. Can you give us the eBay URL?

Brabus has been done. How about a set of the new AMG Double Spoke Multi. A little over your budget at $1039+ each but you may be the first.

The AMG double spoke for the SL is 8.5x19 and 10x19. There will be another version of 8.5x19 and 9.5x19 coming out very soon. It is supposed to be for the W211 and W203. Probably around March/April.

That is good to know, but Ross at www.StatusImports.com says 19" will be for W211 & R230 only.

However, if you want the AMG Double Spoke Multi for the W203, W208, W209 & W210 you can get them from Status Imports in sizes 18X7.5 front and 18X8.5 rear.

I think the 19" that he is referring to is the 10x19. The new E (W211) and the SL (R230) do not share the same offset & bolts. The same wheel cannot be fitted on both cars. On the other hand, the W211 and W203 have very similar offsets.

Harris, did you take the time to look on their website? He faxed me the part numbers. They list:

W203:
18X7.5 et37 (B6 603 1362)
18X8.5 et30 (B6 603 1363)

W211:
19X8.5 et30 (B6 603 1360)
19X9.5 et31 (B6 603 1361)

R230:
19X8.5 et25 (B6 603 1092)
19X10 et28 (B6 603 1092)

The W211 uses 14mm bolts.

These fitments are listed only the AMG website 'Wheel Generator' -

http://www.mercedes-benz.com/amg/e/f...generator.htm#

These are new AMG wheels and it appears they are the only one with them. I could not locate them at any other sources. They are pricey.

Well Kev, as you've listed clearly, the W211 and R230 have different offset numbers, so there should be 2 models for the Style IV 2-pc 19". A C32 needs an offset of ET30 front and ET32 to clear the calipers, so I guess if you put the 19x8.5 ET30 and 19x9.5 ET31 W211 wheels on, then there is a high chance that they will fit (with 12mm bolts!) :p

there is another set of HRE wheels, 18" and 19" available on ebay for $2800 for a set of five. I think that is a good deal, what say? They are the 440R series and they can apparently get the sizes and everything all we need to give them is the bolt pattern size, offset etc. Does anyone know all this information so i can give it to them?? I dont really understand too much of this stuff, but like all you guys, i am also tryin to learn as much as i can. Well, here is the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33748 let me know if you guys thing this is a good deal and stuff.

Thanks,

Rey.
