do they not clear the wheels in the front as i have heard before or is if for some other reason?
yeah gotta get spacers yet again. if they weren't designed like a football i'd be able to throw the wheels on already.

Sorry to hear the bad experiance!
I think thats it also. There's nothing wrong with the stock suspension in terms of performance, the only thing I wanted was the ability to change ride height. I love rollin low, and wish I could sit lower.
nope...my friend was just a cruiser type of guy. The shock/strut casing just cracked open and bent for no reason. we only noticed it after going "why the heck is one side of your car lower?"
I've adjusted it probably 5 times or so. why do you ask?
I figure if you didnt adjust the height THAT often, that maybe you would be better off as a aftermarket spring/damper guy. Ya can go pretty low w/ those set ups and not have to deal w/ the added offset requirements up front. Thats all - could open up your choices in wheels!

I'm trying to figure that one out... all I can find is H&R and RennTech springs. I started a thread about the H&Rs and if anyone has a picture of how much the springs alone will drop the car. From my research RennTech no longer makes springs for the C55 because of the negative camber it caused.

any time you lower the car the camber will become more negative than stock. nothing to do with why RENNtech spot selling the springs. They stopped because people in general thought they were too expensive.

Of course, I was stating what I read in an old forum post...I can't find it at the moment, but the poster stated they called RENNtech and they claim they discontinued production because of the excessive negative camber.

I'm pretty sure any company would blame something other than the overpricing of an item..
