Def not worth selling it! yeah, i was acknowledge by the shop that they did not found the probable cause of no power source to fuel pump since they manually power the fuel pump to test start the car now the car fires up like a champ again with np They did changed out my old relays - spark plugs.

Much appreciated to all the help gotta love the C32/C55/203 group

Have your shop do a fuel pressure test under the bonnet, it could tell u if ur fuel pump is bad. 50-60psi is the regular pressure. I had to replace mine when the pressure fell to 30psi. ( the car wasn't accelerating and stuttering when pushing on the pedal and takes forever to start )

~cheers

had the "issue" pop out of me when i was stopping at a red light, when it turned green i applied a light touch to the gas, but it started to "stutter" and it would accelerate very very slowly;(not more than 10mph and could go much higher) i pressed further down the pedal and it was still the same, so at that point i knew something was up. Basically i couldn't even drive the car, so the SC probably wasn't really engaging. I took the car in for a check up and the first thing the guys did was to hook up a pressure gauge to fuel rail , and it was below 30psi...after cranking. Swap out the old pump for a new one, and I also replaced the fuel filter. Everything has been fine since then. Hope ur issue is as simple as mine.

My car had the exact same symptoms as your car. Drove it up to campus yesterday and then it just wouldn't start 5 hours later. Waiting on the shop to diagnose the problem. Sad day for the both of us...

Seems like relays are a prob for this car.... I had the IC pump, computer replaced under warranty... thank god...then had the same problem after a year and found out it was a bad relay which I replaced myself.

i like the c219, but since is a 550, it sucks a lot of gas the way i'm driving it. I just got the car back from merc shop, they dont know where the problem is at, no CEL no stored codes, charged me "0" i know the sales director!!! i took my rear seats apart, took the fuel pump cover off, sand down the female connection where it connects. Everything seems to be back in working condition ( so far ). I'm tired don't want to drive the 203 anymore Lovin the c219/550 smooth no trouble. I want a used 07-08 M5 drove my friends M5, man this 4 door can get down and dirty.

Yeah, got the car back took off the rear seats, pulled the fuel pump cover, connectors off, cleaned and polished the contact area with 1000 grip sand paper. All seems to work fine now, at least for the moment. There were no power to the fuel pump, i took advise from mr CLKCLK's pm, problem seems to be solved at the moment. I don't drive the 32 too often..... so wont know till i take it for a long drive - road trip !!?!

Just got the car back. So apparently a relay burnt out causing the fuel pumps to fail. The thing is the car now runs like a snail. It feels exactly like when my IC pump failed last year.

Do you guys think the relay burning out could cause the IC pump to fail??

The problem is your shop guy put the relay back in to the wrong slot. Just move the relay up one slot. If not, move the relay down a slot. I ran in to that problem few weeks ago
