I dunno he answer to your question, but remember that the wider you go, the taller your sidewall is going to be, thus adding more flex to the tire, decreasing handling capablities and having slushy steering feedback.

thanks, I did that tire size calculator thing and it seems like 265/35 17 would fit in the rear while maintaining the same side wall height. nice pics btw gramma b.
