Bumper being installed!

Just got my car in for the front bumper being replaced. Im having a clk63 bumper put on. Some of you showed interest in some of my old parts, so those will be available soon. I have one front fog light that is still good, just the regular small chips but not broken. I have all three grills. And any other parts that someone might need. I will have picture soon.

Just got off the phone with the shop and we do need to replace the bumper support. I kind of thought that would be the case but figured we would check first. The headlight washer and tow plug fit perfect. And the new grills and lights are nice. The center grill is still the metal mesh but the sides are plastic. One came broken so it had to go back. The grills are less money so that will be nice for up keep since I drive the freeway alot and always have to replace lights and grills due to rocks. The lights are almost half the cost of the 2005 c55 ones. There might be a way to use the new one on the older cars. I will do some more looking on that. My body shop guy has been doing this for years and thinks the new bumper is better quality then the 2005 bumper. Well we hope to have everything we need to install it by the end of the week. they are going to start painting it tomorrow or the next day so here's hoping

Is it a CLKBS bumper? Or the normal CLK63 front?

The lights cost less? Aren't the C55 and CLK lights the same? Or do you mean fogs?

It's the factory CLK63 bumper with the new fogs and grills. Looks like new headlight washer covers and tow hook covers. And both wheel well liners from the strut to the bumper. It's all one piece now, not the two pieces like we all have. The new fogs are the same but different mounts, four holes instead of the three that is on the c55 bumper. I was trying to see if just the new glass and housing could be mounted to the rest of the c55 mount. They go for around $140 at the dealer not the $229 like the c55 ones.

Been there and done that. BTW the real clk63 fogs are more than that Both have 4 holes. To do it properly you should replace all of the crash stuff behind the bumper.

I guess I'm just stupid since I just went to the dealer and took the numbers off EPC and ordered all the stuff from there. Sorry to bore such a experienced car guy like yourself. Right fog lamp A204 820 22 56 Left fog lamp A204 820 21 56 Dealer cost is $80.00 a piece and retail is $140.00 You can call and check. And yes we ordered the three new impact pieces to. Your so smart!

The Black series has the wider fenders and would need the fenders and hood changed to make it work. Plus then the back would look strange without wider fenders to. I love the look but to much to change.
