Downshift graffics sounds good as far as pricing, plus they do mobile service. I can have them stop by and do 2-3 cars in one shot plus a little extra for gas.
I had my old E500 done by stickercity.com, they also have pics of flat black cars in their gallery section.

Yea that looks good. Too many stickers in my opinion however. I need to get euro bumper strips now because the clear side markers stand out too much. Monolites are being powder coated as I write this. Decided not to carbon overlay the diffuser because of the speed I drive on the Autobahn. Here is a sneek peek of the car. I pick it up tomorrow.

LOVE IT! Ugh....so lucky to have that available to you. It will really look sharp once your rims are done too. I would be all over that if I had that option here in the states for the price you paid. Almost makes me want to get stationed over there just to get this done...lol

Dont forget the German beer and Autobahn. Also good reasons to be stationed here. Thanks

matching trunk spoiler might look super sleek.....

if you want to get super picky about look, im debating whether i would like your side markers clear or matching better? I really can't decide.

only other thing i could think of really is maybe (just maybe) the rieger front bumper? though that would be a PITA b/c they would have to redo (more money) the bumper?

http://formymercedes.com/mb_results....r%20Body%20Kit

idk.....just thoughts flowing. you can take 'em....or throw 'em right back lol.

I was thinking the same thing about the bumper cover. I was planning on getting this one from a dealer here but, I dont know, just never got back in contact with them. I like the Rieger one too.

Get a quad exhaust to put that diffuser to good use. Trunk and front spoiler. Tint the windows as much as you can over there. Smoked out LED tails. Black bi-x headlights. Blacked out front grill. Then trade me cars.

Would that bumper fit our cars? Thought that was only for the CLKs and could work on the 55s since they have the same front.

Rieger would work on ours of course but I don't think you need it. I would not go with the roof or sunroof spoiler. Never been a fan but that's just me.

IDK if the wheels matching will look good or not... but style's very personal. IMHO, I've seen matte black cars with glossy black wheels and thought it looked amazing - YMMV. EDIT: Full disclosure, I usually don't like color matched wheels on any car - I've seen red/yellow/green/white/etc. exotics with color matched wheels - usually don't prefer that look (to say the least).

If you go for a lip and/or trunk spoiler, I'd try to find a dry CF version... that'd look great with your new look.

Quads...for sure. I havent found any muffler shops over here yet. Im looking believe me. Spoilers and tails are in the works. Window tints. German law says no front tinting. Only the three rears can be tinted. Trade cars...the wife would kill me. I just spent her hair and nails money. J/K

That bumper cover fits. I met with the owner personally.

The stock wheels (silver) look horrible with the flat black. What about flat black wheels with red racing stripe? Whats dry carbon? Is that an appearance thing?

Dry carbon fiber is an appearance thing yes, its basically matte carbon fiber, rather than shiny. Your car looks amazing now, definitely go dual exhaust though.

I would see how the powdercoated rims look before adding the stripe, I tend to agree with your thought though, it might be too much flat black if the rims are just plain.

Can't wait to see it once you finish the exhaust, and get the remaining exterior parts on there (lip etc.)

dry CF is not just for appearance. they're a lot lighter than wet CF.

Wow, I didn't know that, does that also make dry CF more expensive?

SLK55 AMG, E320 BlueTec, ML350, (formerly) C32 AMG, MR2 Turbo, HD-FLH-FSE, BMW R100RS, Ducati M900
Dark Model

The flat black has that Ducati Dark look, kind of menacing, certainly different - way better than the usual silver. I would not do it to my car but it is a personal taste thing. If you like it, that is all that matters. Once thought and something that I was looking at anyway is rather than delete the Tri-Star and blacking out the badges, have you considered having then "Black Chromed"? That is a black glossy finish that is badassed looing and would set off your blacked out AMG without being bright or too gaudy. Its a classy look. Do all the badges and the exhaust tips and grille.

BTW: do you have any contact info. for the tuner guy in Munich? I would like to develop contact with a Germany based AMG tuner just to see if I can source some cool stuff, plus I do some work in Switzerland and Germany from time to time and wanted to try to network with them. Good luck with the project. Pics...

As im sitting here listening to Slayer and having just finished my third bloody Mary I thought I would recap todays events. I installed my new rotors/ Goodridge lines and EBC pads on the C32.
Everything went pretty smooth except for I stripped the rear right caliper bolts that bolt to the knuckle? Hub? not sure what its called. Anyone have a schematic of the right rear caliper area? I took it easy back to the house from the car craft center on post. Didnt even get to bed the pads. Anyway here are pics of the recent Murdered Out plan. More to follow...Enjoy!!!
