I've followed Splinters excellent instructions for the DIY rad replacement. I'm at the very end to lift rad out. Problem I have is getting the tabs that go into the bottom of the end tanks clear so the rad can slip out. The top tabs to the ac condenser are removed.
I've been trying a few ways to get the tabs clear for 30 minutes and at a lose on how to separate the bottom end.
I'm obviously missing something, probably simple.

TIA for enlightening me.

You are probably stuck on the heat exchanger still. if you look or feel under the radiator you should be able to see where the heat exchanger has to be "un clipped" from radiator. kinda hard to describe. see if you can look under the radiator if possible. 1 tab that will need to be unclipped on each side. maybe this will help, i hope.

Thank you for your reply. Figured it out eventually. Rad is now done and everything working well.Originally Posted by hammertime21
