Great work, the good new folks is that the EvoHeaders give your TORQUE! The way to increase performance much more on our C32, after you get 380 hp range, is through Lbf. or Nm. Good :p

i just wonder how much it is going to cost? if its something like the supersprint headers ie 800 dollars... don't know if it will justify the 15HP.

On AMG cars I belive it is well justified, there is not much you can do under $ 1,000.00 bucks for most of them, except pulleys and some unknown to MB chip tuners.

I could not helpl to notice that on the graph the green line (odps+headers) has a much 'smoother' path than the other lines.
My theory is that ODPS adds boost and the engine cant get rid of the extra air too well. With the headers it seems to resolve this.
Right ?

yep and the increse in air flow makes work better the OEM cats incresing back pressure --> more torque

Typical CARB certification takes about 4-6 months. We are going in production in about two weeks, once collector flanges are completed. Header flanges are already finished.

I do know that headers on Kleemanntizated car works awesome, one example is otoupalik's CLK Sweet!, he have the Kleemann SC and MKB kit including headers, well his car was on the range 480-490 hp no 420 or 435 hp what is usuall for a 4.3 Kleemanntizated. Thus, headers for these cars means a lot easy 50-60 hp. Now EvoSport is building a 6.2 monster V8 for him!

roozy: As far as gains on a stock C32, I do not know. When we have a chance we will test them.

genius1512: You can get them before CARB number is complete.

Actually, it's a black box how indivual part gains on hp
I think MKB/ Hi-cam shaft help a lot.which need open the engine
while S/C, pulleys, ECU,headers, exhaust,air filter.....need not.
For most of us, leave the engine untouched is popular.

To vadim

I agree that tuning changes best not include messing around with the engine itself. This is why doing pulley headers makes sense.
However I have a question for Vadim:
Let's say dong pulley+headers brings +- 40 HP. It will also cause more strain on the gearbox and other drivetrain parts. Do you believe these parts will need to be upgraded to ensure longlivity ?
Let me refrase the question like this : as of what extra HP would you strengthen the gearbox and related parts ?

Bverotti: Before we started an R&D program for C32, drivetrain longevity was a big concern for us. Brandon at Kleemann assured us that AMG transmission are overengineered and can handle up to 600HP. Even stock MB late model transmission are very strong.

Over past several years we have done a number of Kleemann Kompressor installs on different models from C320 to CLK55AMG and none has experinced any problems with transmissions.

Our eventual goal for our C32 program is 450HP with 3.2L engine and 480HP with 3.7L.

I have tuned MB cars for 15 years, with HP gains between 50 and 100 %, I have yet to see a gear failure.

Modern MB cars have so many protection parameters build in the ECU and EGS which will protect the gear box from overload, so it's not an issue.

You can expect about 15-20rwhp gains with the evosport header for the C32.

Has this been confirmed ???

Stock manifolds on V6 (C240 / C320 / C32) are the same ?
But what about the stock headers ? Those are definitely not the same on a C320 & C32, right ?

will a C32 stock header do anything of value if replacing the stock C320 header ?
If so, got any spare C32 headers from anyone who has swapped them out for evosport headers ???

C32 shares exhaust manifolds (headers) with 240 and 320.

Of course the gains on 2.6L and 3.2L will be lower. Expect about 10-13 HP.

I was looking at these and based on your sites dyno graph, it looks like they lose a LOT of hp compared to the stockers.. So driving around town you will feel much slower, that is until (or unless) you hit 5200 rpms when the EVOsports will have more power. I was thinking about picking these up, but since I dont do a lot of high reving I have a feeling I wouldnt like these!?? Maybe I am reading the graph wrong? Let me know what the feeling is like when driving normal...

Dead Ringer: You are reading the graph incorrectly.

Take a look at them again. Also look at graphs in this thread.

Gains are all accross the powerband.

Car simply feels like a small-block V8.

Even keeping revs down to 2500 rpm keeps the car way ahead of traffic.
