**New updated pics of my matte wheels**
I think it looks good with the black grille and badges and everything. I am trying to decide on if I want to just get the clear headlights like you or get a pair of the projectors....
and as for the sidemarkers...paint yours silver already!!

now seriously, those actually illuminate the road worse then your halogen just so you know.
degree of kelvin is only a measure of color which has nothing to do with how bright it is. Even tho 10000k bulb burn at higher temp and produce something that seemingly bright the light does not travel very far. example: welding produce a very bright spot, but doesn't illuminate nearly as well as a normal candle.
another example: I have the Philip CrystalVision bulbs on my W204 (halogen bulbs) that produce around 4000k color temp. I can say the output is far better than most 8000k plus HID i've seen.
different brand however due to different quality produce slightly off lm sometimes, but below should be within the norm from AvexRacing HID kit.
4300k : 3600lm
6000k : 4200lm
8000k : 3200lm
10000k : 2600lm
12000k : 2200lm
a regular 55w halogen bulb should be around 1550lm.
the highest kelvin temp you want to go with is 6000k. I've wanted the Philip CrystalVision 5000k HID bulbs for a while, but they cost $150-200 a pair.
you can say the 8000k+ still has higher lumen then halogen, but the glare and the blue/purple color of the temp are not the color that human eye see best in.
anyway, just thought you should know.
