Hit 50k mi today, maintenance book says "check driveshaft flex discs"
Hit 50,000 miles today on my way to work (I've owned the car since 46,600). Aside from the usual oil change (which I did when I first got the car anyway), the maintenance book says to check the driveshaft flex discs.
Being that I'm a DIY'er (when it's possible), I'm curious to know if you guys have any tips on this, or if anyone even does it? How, where, etc etc?
Thx for the input (so I can keep )

I haven't lifted this car up yet to check it out, but I doubt they're covered up. At either end of the driveshaft there is a flex disc that connects one end to the transmission and one to the rear diff. I would imagine they need to be checked for wear or dryrotting maybe.

You want to look for cracks that are deeper than just at the surface on both sides. Ideally you have the rear end raised off the ground with the parking brake off and the transmission in neutral so you can turn the driveshaft by hand to look at the entire circumference.
