Good experience at the dealer today
When I checked my air filters (2006 30k miles) the other day I noticed there was some oil leaking from the drivers side valve cover. Couldn't tell if it was the upper cover or the actual valve cover, but there was little pools of oil laying next to the cover on the intake.
My car goes out of factory warranty in a month, so I figured I better get it done now. The dealer scheduled it for Saturday to help me with my schedule and ordered the gasket prior to the work based on me describing the problem.
While I was there the parts guy gave me a break on parts pricing and I picked up some OEM MB air filters for the same price I can get them online instead of full list.
The tech that did the work is the shop foreman and a 25+ year MB master tech and did a great job. They even gave me breakfast while I waited. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience at the dealer.
