Just took my car in for a Service B
$458.78
Funny thing is I told them not to touch the tires or the air filters as I already took care of them and its still that high.
Is this normal?
I need to see the bill to see what all they did, but this still seems a bit high to me.
FYI - This is Aristocrat Motors in Kansas City.

That's why most of us here just do the Service B ourselves. There was a thread somewhere that tells you what the Service A and B's consists off. I believe it's mostly doing car check, changing the cabin filter, oil change and tire rotation. Maybe even changing the tensioner belt.
Of course the stealership will always find something wrong and need to replace a part due to being broken or wornout to markup the bill.

Service B is basically an oil change, they also change the windshield wipers and cabin filter. That is it, the rest is checking everything else, which I doubt they even do unless there is some money to be made. I have been doing them myself, very easy. However, I did have the dealer do all the services until the end of my warranty so they wouldn't give me any excuses if anything happened.

That price is pretty normal. If you do your own oil change, change your own filters, tell them to skip the wipers (which they charge nearly $100 to replace) and leave the tires alone, that pretty much just leaves the regular inspection for them to do and restart your service clock. Should be able to have it all done for under $100 and it's worth it if you're still under warranty. Let them find something wrong and put that warranty to work. I'm due for mine in 100 miles....
