Actually... that would probably look great, like the CLK DTM's done by the AMG Performance Studio. ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Problem for most folks (IMHO) is that a custom respray in a non-OEM color - especially one that's as obvious as the one's we're discussing - will *probably* hurt quite a bit when you're ready to sell it and move on to another vehicle.

I still can't wait for this to be done!!
but I think it'll need some aggressive accents in order for this to "flow"
I was thinking, some matte out or color matched bi-xenons. some aggressive offset and looking satin silver colored wheels, Carbon fiber front lip+diffuser+trunk spoiler
and some sort of two-tone matte grill and hood combo
that would set it off perfectly.
I just had a dream last night that I bought two cars, a e46 M3 SMG, and a "facelift" e92 M3 in Imola red with color matched bi-xenons, and black DPEs.
I had an argument with my shop about painting the e46 M3 in Dakar Yellow, they refused to paint the car that color.
weird dream eh???
I'm gonna look into making that dream come true.

Probably.............I don't think that covers it, there is no way a different color repaint is ever going to be done so it looks factory I.E. under hood, door jambs and hinges, etc. No, I would say if you repaint, you're an owner at that point, better like the color. The resale just completely tanked IMHO.
