when they put my car up on the lift, the exhaust pipes on the AMG are pretty big in diameter...theyre like pretty much 2.5 to 2.3/4 if theres such thing..thats what the dude said..but the diameter were preettty big for stock exhaust...

Uh, it very well could cause a smog check problem. It may pass the sniffer test with flying colors, but if part of the visual inspection is checking the existence of secondary cats, removing them would cause the car to fail. Consult someone locally "in the know" before chopping out the secondaries.

Nice job. I personally like the sound of the res deletes, but having owned a loud car in the past, the low growl of the stock exhaust is good enough for my "comfortable" ride this time around ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)

C32 AMG
Have you not checked youtube? There are a ton of clips of 32s with/without res and cats removed along with header and various aftermarket exhaust clips.

In California, they're trained to fully inspect all aspects of the smog system, and if it's louder than stock, that's an immediate tip-off that something in the exhaust system's been modified. They're insane sticklers about smog, because they can have their smog license taken away if they pass a car that shouldn't have been passed.
California is obviously the pinnacle of smog requirements, but other states are following suit, so don't be surprised if they start looking at our exhausts with an eagle eye...
