I showed up at 3pm and they told me that the event had ended at 2pm due to rain, eventhough when I called the dealership at 1pm they said it would go on until 4pm. In any case, the service advisor took me through their new AMG bay, explained that they will have one dedicated AMG mechanic trained on AMG's to work on customers' AMG cars only , a dedicated AMG service advisor and a separate repair bay where only AMG's would be repaired. He also explained that SilverStar would not go nuts on warranty exclusions for reasonable modifications (i.e. if the warrantied part was not obviously and directly affected by the aftermarket part, they would cover it). All in all, they seemed like a nice bunch of guys -- the AMG advisor showed me his custom built, turbo charged C36 and gave me a nice, collared, black and white, woven AMG shirt. The advisor also said that the dealership was considering becoming a Renntech, Kleemann or other performance dealer, depending upon expressed interest. I saw one fellow AMG'er, David, with a C32, but he didn't hang around.
