Hi guys,
are you sure that this is the right oil?
I can remember, that this oil is used in eaton sc (f.e. 200K 230K 180K etc), but this are classical roots-blowers.
We got in our cars a lysholm-sc, so this (eaton brand) is the right oil?
I dont know, but i want to go sure, that i take the right oil in it. A SC is very expensive, you know.

The reason I wrapped the tape was because after taking the screw out, I could see bits of old teflon tape on the threads.
You can try not wrapping and see if oil seep out. Let us know

Yep suck out all the old stuff, use a syringe to see how much you have left. One bottle is all you need. Keep us posted on your results.

According to my opinion about sucking the SC oil out of the system, and yes i might be wrong too seen this is my 1st SC car and have zero experience. When we try to suck out the oil for the SC, CAN we jack the car up from the back so the oil can flow a little better to front for us the suck is out. Also can we use any type of cleaner to clean out old oil that is in there? Like brake cleaner, will that damage any internal part in the SC or the bearing seen brake cleaner is very strong solvent that can loosen the grease in bearing.

Don't use any break cleaner for cleaning the SC!! Just make sure your car is level and suck out the oil with a syringe. If you really want it clean you can get two bottles of SC oil like I did and do it twice. But imo, if when you suck out the oil you still have 100ml, then I think changing it once is good enough. As posted earlier, I did it twice cause only less than 30ml came out the first time.

Note the OP’s #A000 989 62 01 oil is specified for use in M111 and M271 Eaton superchargers.
Those stateside can source the approved IHI supercharger oil, Mobil’s Jet Oil II, OTC from most aviation supply retailers for substantially less than that in the repackaged-for-MB containers.
For example…Aircraft Spruce.
No longer have a copy of the ’02 through ’04 Factory Approved Service Products booklets.
However, more recent versions indicate it’s the correct lubricant..

Once again, you come through with the most accurate and enlightening information.
I did do a google search for that oil and found if for almost half the price, for anyone that might be interested.
