Good info on Mobil 1 oils
Not sure if was posted before as the post a bit dated, but there's a lot of good info. Its a long read, but worthwhile imo.

The reduced ZDDP levels in contemporary environmentally-friendly HT/HS blends is of concern to some,
particularly those running engines with non-roller lifters and/or rocker arms - AMG pilots not so much.
Suppose it’s more economical to prematurely replace catalytic converters than to pony up for a fresh long-block, though.

So i think its safe to say the I can add M1 5w-50 instead of 0w-40 since we don't really have winters here, just cooler temps.
I found it interesting that using the 5w-40 M1 Turbo Diesel Truck is highly recommended.

it took me about an hour to read through all that stuff so this is what i got from it. Ow40 is good for winter, 5w40 summer and 5w50 if you are lucky enough to find it is ultimate if it doesnt get too cold where you live.
