I will have to say I will miss the old girl but she was giving more grief than I could take, I have had a blast with this car as far as racing goes but I just had my fill of chasing problems and lately every 2 weeks something has been going out.....I took it in the a$$ on the trade in but I needed a car that was not going to leave me or my family stranded. Thanks for all the technical help from fellow forum members and I will still be hanging around the forums here and there to check on you guys and see how things are progressing. I took the Renntech pullies off and have them in the for sale forum. Again thanks for all the great help and support.

Just bought a nice family car, She's a black on black 2010 Accord with a rip-snorting V-6.....LOL. I needed to tone it down a bit!

The bad part is after all the trouble the C32 gave me and the depreciation I will have a hard time getting into another Benz, I have a laundry list a mile long on the parts I have replaced and the parts that needed to be replaced. I think the hit I took on the trade is a lot higher than the repair bill would have been to get it back to normal. But enough ranting I will always love the AMG's performance and maybe after a couple years of not fixing a car every other week will make me want another benz....

yeah euro cars do not depreciate well. Thats why its better to buy them used.

I love the honda's resale value and reliablity. They just didn't have anything for the enthusiast.

I remember i bought my 04 civic for 16k and resold for 13k 3yrs later..lol..back before the economy hit the crappier. The only thing i ever replaced was oil and tires.

I bought my c32 for 25k at the end of 06 and now its worth 12k...

My replacement list is too long to post..lol.

Got to love the Honda's resale! A girl I used to date paid 9000 for her Civic, Drove it for 2 years and sold it for 9300! We laughed all the way to the bank!

Good luck and Happy new beginnings!!
got my 2002 C32 late 2005 for 27K and probably put close to 7K on accessories and mods.
Still too dangerous to let my 16 year old boy drive around in it.
I think I'll just run the C32 to the ground.
Next vehicle will have a turbo diesel engine.

Not like my AMGS are giving me problems. But I'm looking into the Lexus supersedan-ISF. Can't beat Lexus reliability.

Those are sweet looking! As soon as I get rid of my second home I think another fast car will be in order! I am already missing my AMG's power and it has only been 2 days!

Even the first yr 08 ISF are dead reliable. I'm a regular on the Lexus website. Guys with over 20k don't have any problems. I'm waiting for a lightly used 09 or 10. Lexus only make like 3k ISF a year. I test drove one. The manual shifts are lightening fast. Mid 12s @113+.

Good luck and enjoy. I must say all you C32 guys are true enthusiasts, one of the reasons I bought a C55 was a simple V8 that is fairly bulletproof. I read about all the stuff that goes into the care and feeding of a C32 and WOW, I've gotten to a point in my life that I really don't want to work on cars that much any more. SC clutches, IC pumps, cooling issues, etc., etc. ........my hat is off to you guys.

for some of us...the reason we bought the C32 is because there were no C55 in 2002.
