C55 stalls when cold

Stall
I was told by someone else that it was a fuel pump issue. Supposedly because it is an intermittent problem it is hard to diagnose. I just wish I had seen your post before I orderd a new pump. Was the wire just loose at the connection or what exactly would I be looking for.

Dude, I just replaced the fuel pump did not really notice an issue with the connector it snapped into place like it should have but car still stalls I'm just wondering if you could maybe be a little more detailed as to what you found or how you fixed it. This would really be helpful and appreciated.
Thanks

Hi guys,
I am from Germany and have the same issue.
And I really have to say that it is incredibly sad that local Mercedes/AMG do not have a clue what it is. The error log showed an error with the front SAM system and the MAF code P2004-004 B2/5 MAF Sensor: Check wiring and voltage (free translation from German). (P0104)
They exchanged the sensor, however with no success. Now they think it could just be the ECU. I though very much doubt that.....so if any of you can provide any assistance or has made any progress on his issue, please can you advise? Am also happy to give any of you a call, this thing is indeed driving me mad. I left already over 1000 Euro to Mercedes, without the slightest progress.
PS. I first thought it could be the battery and exchanged it, but that was not the reason.

Just found this one and am quite hopefull that this could be it, i.e. a vaccuum problem in one of the hoses to the MAF.....

Will try it out today and confirm if that was it.
PS. Still if any of you can contribute with a confirmation or another suggestion, please do so. Thanks.

I am having a similar problem. On a cold start here in socal, like at lunch or in the morning the car stalls under breaking/turning/stopping, then i have to quickly restart it and then it goes away.
It has only happened a hand full of times and it no engine light.
So from what I have a read, just have the throttle plate/body cleaned? Any maybe look for a lose vacuum hose?
Is there a DIY post for this anywhere?

Connection on the fuel pump should create a code when and if it fails. I'd check the rubber seal in the plastic cover and make sure it's tight over the MAF. Computer is getting tricked into thinking its the maf because of the improper fuel mixture caused by poor seal. If it was the crank positioning sensor you wouldn't be able to start the car.
