Xenon lights problem
I have a W203 CDI 220 Estate European(2003) and I have a problem with xenon lights. I bought the car second hand and after some months I had a warning for left head lamp. I changed the bulb which when I removed it melt in my hands, and it work fine for a few days but then the warning again. I swaped lamps and both lamps were ok. I have taken the car to an electrician(not dealer) and he decided that the ballast was maybe the fault. He replaced the ballast it worked fine for three days and then the problem again. I took the car back and after he checked it he decided that the plug connecting the headlamp assembly to the ballast was not having good contact so he cleaned it and even replaced some pins as he told. The car fine again for three days and then back to the electrician. Now he decided that the whole headlamp needs replacement and it costs around € 1000 as it has some circuitry inside. All these sound a little bit strange to me and I would like to here your opinion.

Im having an issue with the head light strobing, so far they replaced some wiring kit, and still did the same thing, now they ordered the igniter. Well see if when they replace this it fixes the problem.
