Sudden loss of gas mileage
when i was in the south the gas mileage was normal like 18 mpg in city and 23 highway.. but when i got up north and with all the snow and stuff the mpg has droped down to 14mpg and less... i left the car warming up for like 25 minutes and the mpg dropped to 6mpg......
i was wondering if any one know if the supercharger and the super cold air that its pushing into the engine has anything to do with this crap of mpg.....
the check engine light is NOT ON.. ohh i drive 2003 C32.. help if you can?

If you idle the car say for one hour and it theoretically uses 1/3 of a gallon idling. Now lets say you drive one mile subsequently, I think your MPG is going to be pretty low.
.33/1= 3.03 MPG.
And then consider all the extra rolling resistance and sludge you have to drive through further reducing your rolling efficiency, I'd also imagine milage would go down.

thanks loudandheard.. but i replaced my intercooler pump too about 13k ago and it was fine untill i got up to NY and this weather is unbelivable bad for this type of car... if wasnt going on deployment i would deffinatelly look for another car,.. just for winter.
