My CPO is 5 years or 100k from the in service date. They told me I can extend it one or two years, I haven't decided if I'm going to yet. So far I know it doesn't cover trim items.

Well, the car is gone. I took delivery of a brand new 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman S today.

I'll post up a new thread tomorrow with pics and all the details.

Thanks for the suggestions, the 335i just didn't work out financially. I'm pretty happy with my decision, and very happy that I don't have any more surprise $1000 repair bills to look forward to. At least for 4 years

I'm with you. While I love the power and the handling, the problems have been just too much, not to mention the new tires every 10K miles. Maybe I wasn't meant for this car. Looking to trade in mine as well....

You are absolutely right, NO ONE should buy this car without a warranty, and I made a huge mistake by doing so. I knew what I was getting into in terms of gas and tires, I did not expect to have to spend over $3000 for repairs in a little more than a year on a car that had less than 65,000 miles when I got rid of it. That is not counting $2000 of body work that came from the car being hit while parked 4 seperate times.

Basically, I think that car was cursed

True, i abused my integra like a cheap ***** compared my c32 and it just kepted on going.

Too bad all the new hondas are so ugly. Honda is moving backwards. Even the new crz is heavier and slower then the original crx.

I abused my accord and then prelude like it was a rental and I had zero problems with either. I remember on the old accord forum everyone who had trouble (i had a 4th gen accord sedan and a 4th gen prelude) had ones made in the states...everyone who had an accord with a vin number starting with a J had no problems...

I think honda's heyday was from 1989 to the early 2000's...they died when they killed the rsx and introduced that fugly acura shield.
