I've managed to hang my C55's front bumper on way too many curbs and parking blocks, and the bottom edge is ripped in a couple places. Any tips on bumper repair? Is there any sort of glue I could do in the driveway or is this a body-shop-only job? Or do Ijust need to start looking for an OEM or aftermarket replacement?

if you have cracks, you can bondo it and then repaint it. But your probably just better off buying another bumper and then painting it.

I've actually got a couple big rips. Bondo is good for smoothing out solid surfaces but I don't think it would do much for tears in that flexible bumper skin. If I can't find something to glue it back together then replacement is the only option. Unfortunately the price for new with paint and labor is ~$2,500. Anyone know any less expensive solutions?Originally Posted by TemjinX2

Thanks for the link. That's for standard C-class and won't fit a C55. I've asked if they make one for the C55 . . .Originally Posted by TemjinX2

The EuroDyne replica bumpers look good, but they confirm that they do not offer a replacement for the C55.
Any one else - any other ideas about where to get a new front bumper skin for C55?
