oh yeah, i recognize your screen name when i was looking into parts before i even bought my c55 i read up on your progress on the slk forum last year...
If we have basically the same motors and same mods, how is that you dynoed so high? Cory from kleemann said to expect 45-50hp gain. I dynoed at 315hp at the wheels (with k&n filters and secondaries). Factor in a 18% drivetrain loss and I get roughly 385hp. Now if the mods add a modest 45hp gain, I will be at 430hp at the crank and 353hp at the wheels.
I'm very confused from your thread on the slk forum. The dyno shows you have 394hp at the wheels...not at the crank. If you factor in a 18% drivetrain loss, your crank hp should be 480hp!? I ran this on a dynojet model 424xLC2.

2000 for parts, 800 for labor. More than I wanted to spend but I just didn't have the time to do the header install with me and my friend...it would have taken us several weekends to accomplish it so I just went ahead and had a shop do it for me.
not the most cost efficient in terms of hp/dollar, but its a benz, not honda

What does the average c32 with the pulleys and supporting mods run in the quarter? I did a 13.1 with k&ns and secondaries. With my lighter 18 inch wheels, lt headers and ecu I'm hoping for maybe mid 12's?

It is very hard to achieve mid 12s with just headers and ECU in the c55. As far as I know, no one ever could break the mid 12s barrier with simple bolt on mods unless going with blower kit

IMHO, "average" bolt-on pulley/headers/tune/cooling C32 (what the OP asked) is mid-high 12's. His C55 should be in the same ballpark.
Fastest C63s are about a second quicker and 10+ mph faster than the fastest C32s. As well they should be, given the power differential.
RLx02 - look forward to your results, post-mods.

Do a search for Hooley's thread on his full NA list, dyno and quarter times before he switched to the blower. That would be your answer. It would be nice to have it in an easy to access thread as well I'm sure for others. He used to have it in his signature. You may PM him and he may be kind enough to copy and paste same.

I highly doubt I'll break mid 12's...i'm shooting for something in-between mid and high 12's...I'd be really happy to get a 12.6-12.7 and be ok with a 12.8...but slightly disappointed if I pull just a 12.9. Hooley ran like a 12.9 i think with headers/ecu/pulleys but i believe he was using shorties and sport cats whereas i'm running long tubes and a straight through downpipe....
I am not trying to disappoint you or anything, but i have the same setup that you have, and my best time was 12.95! I wish if anyone with C55 N/A could break into mid 12s !. I am almost in the verge of going with blower!!

I think an extra 50hp should net me a little more time off my 1/4 mile than .15 seconds.
I know I'm probably being completely over optimistic but the car sure feels A LOT stronger than it was before.
On the 27th of this month I am going to attend a local dyno meet and we'll see what numbers I post up and hopefully get my *** to the track soon as the test and tune opens up again!
