Holy CR*P! Picked up my car from the shop!! (WITH VIDS!)
My shop put on my kleemann headers, downpipe and ECU this week and I picked it up tonight.
All I can says is WOW.
Its a completely different animal now. The long tube headers + downpipe make it sound like a big block muscle car and you can hear it from 4-5 blocks away under full throttle. The drone isn't that bad to be honest. If I get sick of it I may put in an x-pipe to quiet it down and/or smooth out the difference in frequencies.
Performance wise, there is so much more top end torque now! It used to peak off maybe 700rpm's before red line but now it pulls HARD into redline and the torque stays at its peak at WOT throughout the gears...I think that also is in conjunction with the ECU tune.
The car is SOO much more responsive now too. The engine holds it in gear a bit longer in S mode and is just so much more fun to drive and responsive now...I don't know how I'm going to not floor it all the time...its so intimidating sounding too!
Tomorrow I'm going to take some vids of it revving and me at WOT inside and outside when I can find my digital camera floating my house somewhere...

Thanks guys! I've used up so much gas in these last couple of days just from stomping on the gas whenever I can. I'm kind of glad that I have a n/a motor that I don't have to worry about as much as a F.I motor.
The only unsettling thing is that I have to get used that random popping/gutter noise I get when I let off the gas at high rpms that are usually associated with free-flowing exhausts...from what I read is that its the unburnt fuel going through the exhaust that detonates in the exhaust pipes...just a sign that the car is running a little rich...better than running lean.
I think I eventually will have to go with an x-pipe to make it less camaro-sounding and more sleeper...if i heard that noise I would never assume it was coming from a c-class!

I've have the na mods on my car, tune, kleemann headers, kleemann rear cats, supersprint xpipe, green filters. Put down 393 on the wheels, 4th gear run dyno jet.
I love how it sounds, specifically at mellow cruise slightly speeding 2,500-3,000rpm

wow! I don't expect to dyno that high...I'm hoping for around 350hp at the wheels considering hooleyboy had all the n/a mods we have, except that he had shorty headers. And he put around that much as well....if I can put 393 down that would be amazing!

In the last vid ESP was kicking in hard and you can hear it cut power twice...oh well...time to do it when its dry!
