I have read un hooking the seat control modules or replaceing them is the way to fix this. under the seet, there is more than one plug in. do i unhook all of them or just 1? I will do both sides also. let me know please. what kind of price am i looking at for replacements? do can they be from any c class 2002 benz or do they have to be froma c32?

Look for a thread already here about the seat controller fix. There are pictures, a how to, etc...

Condensed version, look under seats and find the plug with 3 wires: red, brown and black. Cut the red, splice it into the black. No more battery drain and your seats will still move. Although they will only move with the ignition on. Therefore, the lazy person feature will not work anymore.

This is from the "How to/Instructions" sticky at the top of the C32/C55 forum.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...oller-fix.html

It will show you how to fix the seat controller for under $5, instead of the $700/side the dealer will want from you.

By the way, the search function will help you find almost every answer you would need.
