I find this hard to believe. No disrespect to a C32, but I own an M6. Especially from 75 mph on to 130 mph, if the M6 is driven properly of course, the C32 will hang only for a short period of time. Shortly after that the M6 will pull away. Compared to my CLK 63 BS, my M6 lacks torque, but from around 5000 rpm up, the M6 pulls pretty bad and the SMG has an advantage over the auto gearbox in my CLK.
BTW, my M6 is a coupe..............M6 convertible is quit heavy, but most likely it was a 650.

some of you think that a modded c32 that traps 114 (on a good day) would be somewhere in between?

Show me a dyno-dynamics run that a stock m6 puts down 420-430? Maybe on a dynojet. Turkle's C32 would put down a much bigger number on a dynojet. Point is the C32 would have a nice whole shot on a m6.
I could show you 100 M v10 dyno runs..However until it happens for us all see there will be speculation. The relevance of the dyno post shows that a modded C32 could hang or at least have the benefit of the doubt.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

02 c32 amg 94 3000gt vr4
Just throwing in my .02 here as someone who has worked for bmw for the better part of 5 years. I doubt this car was a 650 as in my c32 and old m3 i would walk away from one. That being said we have raced my 32 against quite a few cars on the lot. Without using launch control, i will stick, if not pull an m5/m6 till somewhere in the realm of 80. From there, its a different story. Im not saying its not possible as I don't know whats done to your c32 and it may be far modified compared to mine with just sl55 intake and K&Ns. i would just say that this car was either in p400, or p500 mode maybe, but not p500 sport. its close to 25% hp difference. i once raced a dinan stage 1 m5 from a 35 and it wasnt until the high speed that he really pulled away(upwards of 90) and it was like i was standing still. i will say congratulations as i dont think this was a 650. sounds like you have a great c32.

They offered manual to appease the US market but they car is slower with it.
As regards torque, the Ms produce more though it's irrelevant anyway when rolling and people are changing gears.
terkel- my friend who just parted ways with his M5 ran it in p400 75% of the time. A combination of being too lazy to hit the M button and a conviction mileage was adversely affected were his reasons. Go figure.

Jurkel or Terkel, are these all freudian slips here?? Poor Josh can't catch a break??

I have had a run in the kleemann vs a M6 ... from 60ish to 140 ...
he won
That being said we all know lots go into a highway run. Did he let out of it etc...
Its hard to use the 1/4 times also... cause those are a ***** to launch ... There are a few M6 lurkers on this board that will speak to how hard it is to put the M6 power to the ground (Jason you there?)...
On a highway run, the shear HP diff should amount to buslengh's vs a C32, even modded. Were talking nearly 80-100 rwhp difference

For those of you interested, check out that latest CD April 2010 edition, the test of the TT 911 and the ZR-1. Except for the Laguna Seca run where teh ZR-1 barely beat the TT, the TT is quicker in teh QTR than teh Zr-1 , 2.9 ( 0-60) and 11.0 qtr at 128; the ZR-1 at 11.5 at 128 and 0-60 at 3.4, thus showing how all important a hole shot is .............That AWD just hooks and goes!!
