Im a bit excessive so i take out my airbox every month and clean it out. So i smack the filters monthly but i have yet to "refresh" the filters with oil and cleaning solution

i notice you live in southern california, do you get alot of dust down there? is that why your cleaning them out every month? i just installed mine and they are awesome, took a little bit of time to do it though. it's pretty cool when you give it gas in neutral and it makes that little noise.haha and i think i notice better lower end torque. my old ones had cigarretes in them and were nasty so this should do me more justice as i drive to LA in a couple weeks
