You are confusing torque with a multitude of other concepts like traction/launch control/rev band/etc.

Off the line, I would think C55 would easily keep up. Down a twisty road or where there is more room to wind out the M3 is when the M3 will pull away.

The AMG is torqed up, but no way as fast as the M3, even my AMG is modded with Eurocharge tune, pulley, E55 boxes, and true dual exhaust!
