I heard that you may need a special gun to use the kit. I'm not sure if they sell a kit that does not require the gun, but I could be wrong.

How much were you able to get the new spare tire wheel well for? I think it sells for $250 on parts.com.

Here's a list that I made with all the dual exhaust threads, just in case.

Looks like you already know about that thread.

Patrick - just use the same adhesive the windshield installers use. It's the same thing.

When I was going through my exhaust conversion, I ordered everything in the recipe but my mechanic told me: "that's just glue" and that the fancy weapon was needed. Bottom line, I returned it and went with the most cost effective route. The spare tub is not going anywhere.

Thanks ///AMG4ever, You returned it , then I just purchased it. The dealer loan me his Gun. What a Monster. The kit has a prep for Glass & another for painted metal surface. After the prep was applied I was wondering how long of a working time I had ? & to get the glue in place & the tub set?? Oh well live & Learn Cheers _PTEngineering

I'm probably going to use this product:3M MARINE ADHESIVE/SEALENT 4200 FAST CURE 10oz. BLACK.

I use it for all my jetski projects...... it will never come lose again, so be sure you want a truely permanent installation.
No special tools needed for installation.... just a caulk gun.
